Acrylic on cardboard, 5.5″ x 8.5″

This piece began as a sketch by a river in the summer of 2017 on Treaty 7 territory (“Calgary”) after visiting the gorgeous mountains formally referred to as the “Rockies,” with dear friends.  The vision of this image appeared during a healing massage with one of these sweet friends.  The piece was completed in Tiohtia:ke (“Montreal”), unceded Kanien’keha:ka territory soon after.
