Certain Days: Freedom for Political Prisoners Calendar (2018)

I once again have the honour of being part of this important project, this time through words: an excerpt from the “Open for Me My Heart: An anti-racist Feminist Queer Muslim Response to Systemic Xenophobia” speech is part of the calendar.

Every year, the Certain Days collective produces a calendar with stunning art and thought-provoking articles around social justice organising.   The Certain Days Calendar is a joint fundraising and educational project between outside organizers in Montreal, Toronto, and New York, in partnership with three political prisoners being held in maximum-security prisons in New York State: David Gilbert, Robert Seth Hayes and Herman Bell.
